Projects

Current Projects

We're currently working on two different nursing projects in Western Uganda:
  • The Kaihura Project
  • The Busesa Project
The Kaihura Project will take place from December 3rd, 2011 - December 12th, 2011 in Kaihura, a city in Uganda's Kyenjojo district.

We will work in direct collaboration with Bringing Hope to the Family (BHTTF), an organization supported by Global Support Mission (GSM), as well as several missionaries. Faith Kunihira, BHTTF's Founder and Executive Director, has been working in the community for over 11 years.

During our stay here we will ensure ongoing patient treatment and care, deliver vaccinations, and build a kitchen and bathroom addition for the HomeAgain Orphanage.

The Busesa Project will take place from December 12th, 2011 - December 22nd, 2011 in Busesa, a Village in Uganda's Kibale district.

Our nursing team will work in collaboration with the Sisters of Notre Dame (SND) and the Busesa Parish Priest to ensure ongoing patient treatment and care, deliver vaccinations and build 6 latrines--five in various villages and one at a school.
