"The Karuguza Market" or "How our starvation for variety was temporarily satiated"

The selection was dismal when Chelsea, a UCLA student RN, and I rode to town in hopes of finding snacks for our hungry group. We came back with "biscuits"--sweet, dry, crumbly crackers--some expensive imported apples and sore backsides from a bumpy ride in the back of a pickup truck.

Thankfully, though, some of us were able to return to town on Saturday, and were happily surprised at the discovery of a farmer's market.

A man selling Rapper/Hip hop artist posters (R. Kelly, Akon, Nelly, etc.) in one hand....

...and Alphabetical Chart and Terrorist posters in the others.

We came back from the trip with, most notably, avocados (!!!!!!!). Mama Lynda and I made guacamole, for which the hungry group was very grateful.
